Spring 2025 READ-A-THON FUNDRAISER information

Dear BPA Families -

We’re so excited to announce our fourth annual Read-a-Thon fundraiser to support our school library and other important initiatives! This fundraiser not only encourages a love for reading in our students, but also provides an opportunity for our entire school community to come together and make a meaningful impact.

The money we raise during this Read-a-Thon goes to some very important resources and programs that benefit our students. For example, did you know that Read-a-Thon money pays for our amazing BPA librarian? She plays such an important role in fostering a passion for reading among our students and helping them develop literacy skills! By participating in this fundraiser, you're not just supporting our library; you're investing in the future of our children's education.

Your donations will also help pay for library materials, teacher’s supply grants and continuing education, our K-5 soccer program and middle school sports, our garden club, exciting (and needed!) campus beatification initiatives, and more! From classroom materials to extracurricular activities, every dollar raised will make a difference in enriching the educational experience of our children.

Here's how you can get involved:

  • Encourage your child to participate in the Read-a-Thon by setting reading goals and seeking sponsorships from family and friends. Reading logs will be sent home with your child.
  • Spread the word about the fundraiser within your community. Share your child’s fundraising link with friends and relatives who may be interested in supporting BPA.
  • Consider making a donation yourself, if you're able. Every contribution, no matter how small, helps us get closer to our fundraising goal.

Thank you so much for being an essential part of our school community! If you have any questions or would like more information about the Read-a-Thon, please don't hesitate to reach out.
